Gift Holdings (President Sho Tagawa, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market) and group companies (hereinafter referred to as “our group”) is pleased to announce the opening of Machida Shoten Stampfenbachplatz (hereinafter referred to as “our store”), on June 27, 2026, in Zurich, Switzerland. 

The business will be developed through a joint venture structure via Ramen Master Europe AG, jointly funded with Nippon A+ GmbH, a local Swiss corporation.

The area surrounding Stampfenbachplatz is a highly accessible and vibrant district located near Zurich Central Station and ETH Zurich. It attracts a diverse mix of business professionals, students, and tourists, creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere throughout the day.

The neighborhood is home to a concentration of offices, educational institutions, restaurants, and commercial facilities, generating strong and consistent pedestrian traffic. In addition, the area offers excellent access to Zurich’s city center and benefits from an international and multicultural environment, making it a location with strong potential for continued growth and long-term development.

At this location, the store will primarily offer IEKEI-style ramen, consistent with our directly operated stores in Japan, along with Japanese appetizers and Switzerland-exclusive menu items. As the brand's second location in Switzerland, the store will strengthen our presence in the market and make authentic Japanese ramen more accessible to customers in the region.
